Shannon and his husband, Writer/Director Chris Peckover, split thier time between Los Angeles, Big Bear, and Albuquerque. Originally from "The Music Show Capitol of the World," Branson, Missouri, Shannon danced, sang, designed/built costumes for many Branson variety music shows. He attended Undergraduate at Southwest Missouri State University where he studied Religious Philosophy, as well as Theatre Arts. Eventually he graduated through Regent’s College in NY and, at 27, started Graduate School at the University of Arkansas -Fayetteville. He earned a Master of Fine Arts in Costume/Scenic Design and Construction. Shannon is also a 30+ year master leather couturier who has created custom pieces for clients all over the world.
