Shannon earned a BA in Theatre and in 2005 earned an MFA in Costume Technology & Design. Here a few examples of his graduate. He took special interest in Georgian, Regency, and Bustle period clothing. Some of the productions he worked on included Mystery of Edwin Drood, A Little Night Music, The Elements of Style, & The Bacchanalian Women (for which he won a regional costume design award & presented his designs at the Kennedy Center.)
