LOS ANGELES SPECIALTY COSTUMES: Union based costume facility founded by Designer Laura Jean Shannon that creates her supersuit/costume designs for many projects including the upcoming series VOUGHT RISING, THE BOYS S4-5, DOOM PATROL S4, TITANS S4, and RED ONE starring Duane “The Rock” Johnson.
Shannon’s work is featured in the Emmy nominated MANDALORIAN: Chapter 13-The Jedi and the Costume Designer’s Guild winning BOOK OF BOBA FETT: Chapter 1-Stranger in a Strange Land.
Two of Shannon’s favorite projects have been with Netflix: RANSOM CANYON and the 2025 Best Period Costume Emmy Nominated AMERICAN PRIMEVAL. Click below to see examples of the costumes he and his team worked.
For 30+ years, Shannon has been a sought after custom leathersmith walking the line between costuming, fashion, and fetish. This skill has led him to many productions including STAR TREK: PICARD.
